grew up in my family’s restaurant so creating and sharing food was the foundation of my childhood. Living in China for ten years and starting my own family there developed my love and knowledge of food. Sharing food with my friends from around the world connected our cultures. After returning to the US there was a period of time when I had to be creative and resourceful and use whatever I had available when cooking for my daughters, and the Grateful Bowl was born. A Grateful Bowl is a delicious nutritious meal, even when created from unlikely food combinations. To this day, my grown daughters request Grateful Bowls more than anything else. My joy for cooking keeps growing and I’m happy to share our favorites with you!
